Evelyn M. Oxman

Milwaukee native Evelyn M. Oxman, nee Fredman, died Feb. 3. She was 90.
She was a graduate of Shorewood High School.

She was a founding member of Congregation Shalom and a member of the National Council of Jewish Women.

Preceded in death by husband Emanuel M. Oxman, M.D., in 1990, she is survived by sons Herbert (Anda) Oxman, M.D., of Mequon, and Philip (Harvey Zuckman) Oxman of Minneapolis; daughter Pam Oxman of Wisconsin Dells; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Rabbis Ronald Shapiro and Shari Shamah officiated at funeral services Feb. 5.

Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated by the family.
