Esther Pelz

Funeral services were held Nov. 18 for Esther Pelz. She died Nov. 16 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease at the Mequon Care Center. She was 83.

She was born in Poland and came to Milwaukee from Germany in 1947. A homemaker, she belonged to Congregations Agudas Achim Chabad and Beth Israel, and to Na’amat of the USA.

She is survived by sons Harry (Marilyn) Pelz of Mequon and Dr. Frederick (Debra) Pelz of Memphis; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Nathan Pelz, died in 1999.

Rabbi Paul Kerbel officiated at the service. Burial was in Agudas Achim Cemetery.

The family suggested memorial contributions to Congregation Agudas Achim Chabad or Na’amat.
