Longtime Milwaukeean Elizabeth Joseph of Mequon died March 3. She was 90.
Born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, she moved to Milwaukee with her mother, brother and sister in 1935 after the death of her father.
She worked as a bookkeeper in Milwaukee and Los Angeles. After retiring, she volunteered as an English tutor at the Golda Meir House. She enjoyed bridge and participated in many tournaments, according to her family.
She is survived by sister Dorothy (David) Glazer of Mequon.
Rabbi Shlomo Pontos officiated at funeral services March 5. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
