Edward Meyerson of Thiensville died of cardiac arrest on March 29 at the age of 79.
Born in Milwaukee, he was a graduate of North Division High School. He studied carpentry at Milwaukee Vocational & Adult School, now Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). He worked as a builder and carpenter at Circle Construction.
He was a member of the Glendale Lions Club and past president of Milwaukee Memorial Lodge-B’nai B’rith, Milwaukee B’nai B’rith Council, B’nai B’rith Bowling Council and Spring Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annabelle Meyerson (nee Goldberg). He is survived by wife Shyla Meyerson (nee Appelbaum); sons Steven (Bonnie Cohen) Meyerson of Mequon and Fred (Karen) Meyerson of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughters Terry Meyerson of Benica, Calif., and Robin (Robert) Prow of Maple Grove, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
Rabbi Shari Shamah officiated at funeral services at Congregation Shalom April 1. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
Memorials to B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, American Heart Association or Congregation Shalom would be appreciated by the family.
