Milwaukeean Edith M. Wolf died May 30 at the age of 83.
She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and worked as an educator and a principal in the Milwaukee Public School System.
She belonged to Congregation Shalom, where she taught confirmation classes and lead the choir for many years. She was also a member of Hadassah.
She enjoyed art, music, roses, choir singing, books and still life and portrait painting.
Preceded in death by husband Jordan Wolf in 2002 and son David Richard Wolf in 1986, she is survived by sister Bunny Wagner of Beverly Hills, Calif; brother Leonard Maletz of Cypress, Calif; nephew Bruce Wagner of Los Angeles; and nieces Wendy Wall of Los Angeles and Claudia Lieberman of Boca Raton, Fla.
Funeral services were held June 7 at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the David and Jordan Wolf Memorial Fund at Congregation Shalom.
