Native Wisconsinite Dorothy Glazer (nee Joseph) died of pneumonia on Sept. 21. She was 92.
Born in Wisconsin Rapids, she graduated from high school there in 1932 and came to Milwaukee in 1936. She co-owned David’s Beauty Salon in Milwaukee with her husband.
According to her family, she was most interested in her grandchildren and she taught all of them to read.
She is survived by her husband, David Glazer; son Gerald (Cissy) Glazer of Milwaukee, four grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Michel Twerski officiated at graveside services at Second Home Cemetery on Sept. 23.
