Clara Cohen of Bayside died July 12 of a heart attack. She was 95.
Born in Milwaukee, she belonged to Congregation Anshai Lebowitz and its Sisterhood, and was a member of Hadassah, NA’AMAT of the USA and Women’s American ORT. Her special interests included spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Norma (Richard) Mandlman of Bayside; son Steven Cohen of San Francisco, and daughter-in-law Esther Cohen of Glendale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Cohen, in 1968 and son Melvin Cohen.
Rabbi Bernard Reichman officiated at the funeral on July 15. Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery.
