Funeral services were held March 24 for Barney Herman of Milwaukee. He died March 21 at the age of 84.
A 1939 graduate of St. John’s Military Academy, he served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He worked in the home improvement industry and was an avid sports fan and photographer.
He is survived by daughters Donna Herman of New York and Vicky Herman of Los Angeles; son Richard Herman of Los Angeles; brother Sidney Herman; and two grandsons.
Hazzan Mitchell Martin officiated at the graveside funeral. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
