Native Milwaukeean Ann Lee Pittelman, nee Perchonok, died of cancer on Aug. 13 at the age of 70.
She graduated from Washington High School in 1952, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1956. She worked as a teacher in the Milwaukee Public School system, and was a member of the Milwaukee Teachers Education Association.
She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, and was active in the Sisterhood there. She was also a member of Hadassah. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, doing needlework, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren, according to her family.
She is survived by husband Theodore (Ted) Pittelman; daughters, Nancy (David) Cahn of Minnetonka, Minn., Debbie (Dan) Rubach of West Bend, and Shari (Todd) Huppert of Oregon, Wis.; and ten grandchildren.
Rabbi Gideon Goldenholz officiated at funeral services on Aug. 15. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
Memorials to Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
