Funeral services were held Jan. 10 in Madison for Anita B. Messerman (nee Borsuk). She died Jan. 8 at the age of 88.
She was born and raised in Madison, graduating from Madison West High School in 1933.
She and her husband, Maurice Messerman, lived for many years in Two Rivers, where they were members of Congregation Anshe Poale Zedek in Manitowoc. They moved to Glendale in 1988 and belonged to Congregation Beth Israel. He died in 1992.
She is survived by son Howard (Shari) Messerman of Brown Deer; daughter Kathy (Dr. Mark) Aranson of Cumberland, Maine; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Rabbi Kenneth Katz officiated at the service and burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.
