Allen Phillip Pearson

Allen Phillip Pearson of Glendale died on Sept. 13. He was 82.

Pearson was born in Louisville, Ky., and graduated with a pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky. Before moving to Milwaukee in 1950, he was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, with a tour of duty in the Pacific theater.

In Milwaukee, he owned his own drug store and later worked as a pharmacist for Walgreen’s and St. Mary’s Hospital.

Pearson was a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.

He is survived by his wife Carla (nee Zarne) Pearson; a daughter, Beth (Larry Trogun) Sattler of Glendale; sons Larry (Karen) Pearson of Bayside; and Mark (Beth) Pearson of River Hills; a sister, Dorothy (Harold) Green of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Sept. 15 at Spring Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated.
