As the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle goes to press with its Rosh HaShanah issue, we search to find the words to convey our thoughts on this week’s tragic events.
On behalf of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, we express our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of those lost in these horrific attacks against the United States. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the victims. We pray for the recovery of those who were injured.
We join in condemning those who would attack innocent people and attempt to destroy the freedoms of this country. We commit our support to working to eradicate terrorism, at home and abroad.
In times of great tragedy, communities often feel the need to come together. We are working with synagogue and organizational leaders to make this happen. With the New Year approaching, we wish you all a year of peace and blessings.
