How To Submit Information to The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle

Submissions to The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle should be sent per the instructions below either electronically, or mailed to:

The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle
1360 N. Prospect Ave.
Milwaukee, WI 53202

Announcements:

These brief announcements should be about a future event that is open to the community and has Jewish content. They may also include the main fundraising events of an organization, synagogue or agency.

To pitch a story idea, please make sure to contact the editor several weeks in advance.
Deadline is Wednesday, noon, nine days before the targeted Friday issue.

Calendar:

The Community Calendar runs as a monthly insert in the last issue of each month. It gives readers a schedule of local Jewish events that they may want to attend.

Events should be open to the general Jewish community, not just to a particular membership, and should have specific Jewish content. For example, we do not include computer classes offered by a synagogue or Jewish organization.

We will however include some purely social events sponsored by Jewish groups and aimed at all or part of the Jewish public. That includes Jewish singles events, synagogue picnics and a synagogue/agency/organization’s main fundraisers.

Note: Events that run in as announcements or stories in The Chronicle must be submitted separately to the Community Calendar. A full listing of community events is found at Planit Jewish, www.jewishmilwaukee.com.

All submissions should be sent to , with "calendar" in the subject line. Deadline is mid-month for the following month.
