Pearlie Ruth Harris

Former Milwaukeean Pearlie Ruth Harris, nee Rosenheim, died on Aug. 19 in Chandler, Ariz., of natural causes. She was 78.
Born in Chicago, Harris graduated from Von Steuben High School and Pestalozzi Froebel Teachers College.
She moved to Milwaukee with her husband in 1955 and taught elementary school for over 20 years. Harris retired to Arizona in 1995.
She is survived by husband Herbert Harris of Chandler, Ariz.; daughters Beth Harris of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Cheryl Harris of Portland, Ore.; son Marc (Lisa) Harris of Phoenix; brother Leonard (Lois) of Scottsdale; and three grandchildren.
She was buried in Scottsdale on Aug. 22.
