Bader Foundation taps board member

March 9th, 2001

Frances Klitsner Wolff of Jerusalem has been named to the Helen Bader Foundation seven-member board of directors. The Milwaukee native was a friend of the late Helen Bader.

Wolff, 52, replaces her father, Marvin Klitsner , who is retiring from the board. He played a key role in helping the Bader family establish the foundation and has served on its board since its formation in 1991.

Wolff has lived in Israel since 1971. She is a volunteer coordinator for Keren Klita, an organization that aids the absorption of immigrants from the former Soviet Union.

The foundation’s Early Childhood Development in Israel program awards $1.6 million annually for projects that work with children under the age of seven from two main populations: new immigrant children and children with developmental disabilities.
