Parker-Schuman

Julie Parker of Washington, D.C., and Mark Schuman of Madison are planning to be married Aug. 2.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ellen and Dr. Matthew Parker of Bethesda, Md. Julie graduated from the University of Michigan with a psychology degree in 2002 and from George Washington University with a master’s degree in elementary education in 2004. She is employed by Jewish Primary Day School as a first-grade teacher.

The future groom’s parents are Sharon and Michael Schuman of Mequon. Mark graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 2003 and will be graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2008. He will be working for Arnold and Porter LLP.
