November 16th, 2007
Milwaukee poet Sandra Cohen Margulius’ poem “Aunt Betty,” has been included in the new Holocaust anthology, “Blood to Remember: American Poets on the Holocaust, 2nd Edition,” edited by Charles Fishman (Time-Being Books.)
The anthology includes poetry written by survivors, children of survivors and others who feel compelled to give voice to this history.
Margulius earned a master’s degree in English and creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001.
Her poem “My Mother Ironed” appears in “Family Pictures, Poems & Photographs Celebrating Our Loved Ones” (Capitol BookFest), scheduled to be released this month.
Her poems “In Praise of Being Bahgahn,” and “Repeating” will be published in the online magazine “New Works Review,” in the winter issue.
