Sydney Blake Stein

A daughter, Sydney Blake, was born Oct. 16 to Jamie and Steve Stein of Chicago. She is sister to Zoe Dylan, 3.

The maternal grandparents are Gloria and Robert Roth of Wilmette, Ill. Judy (Marvin) Edelstein of Mequon and Bernard Stein of Mequon are the paternal grandparents.

Max Joshua Strimling

A son, Max Joshua, was born Oct. 4 to Jenny and Dr. Bradley Strimling of Deerfield, Ill. He is brother to Jacob, 6, and Sam, 4.

The maternal grandparents are Fran and Dr. Ronald Meyers of Mequon. Karol and Dr. Arnold Strimling of Chicago are the paternal grandparents.

The maternal great-grandmother is Esther Schwade of Milwaukee.
The baby is named in memory of his maternal great-uncle, Jay Schmidt.

Alec Jonathan Wcislo

A son, Alec Jonathan, was born July 19 to Amy and Andrew Wcislo of Greendale. He is brother to Austin Matthew, 2.

The maternal grandparents are Harleene and Ralph Hoffman of Glendale. Betty and Andrew Wcislo of Mukwonago are the paternal grandparents.

The baby is named in memory of his maternal great-grandmother, Leabelle Marcus, and his paternal great-grandmother, Helen Hoffman.
