Alana Shira Rubensohn

A daughter, Alana Shira, was born May 26 to Sarah Rachel and Daron Michael Rubensohn of Merrick, N.Y. She is the sister of Hannah Adina, 3.

The maternal grandparents are Susan (Alvin) Feterman of South Setauket, N.Y., and Bill (Cherie) Zager of East Setauket, N.Y. Joyce and Frank L. Rubensohn of Milwaukee are the paternal grandparents.

The maternal great-grandmother is Ethel Zager of East Meadow, N.Y.

The baby is named in memory her maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Harrison, and her paternal great-grandfather, Alfred Rubensohn.
