Sylvia Kramer

Sylvia Kramer (nee Cohen) died of natural causes on May 24. She was 91.

Born in Milwaukee, Kramer graduated from North Division High School in 1933 and from the University of Wisconsin Extension in 1936.

According to her family, she and her husband, the late Albert Kramer, were “avid travelers.” They traveled to Mexico, Africa, and Israel before moving to Florida in 1979.

When she wasn’t out exploring the world, Kramer enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing bridge. She was also a member of NA’AMAT USA- Milwaukee Council and Hadassah-Milwaukee Chapter.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by brother Gerald Colburn and sisters Shirley Ollman and Ruth Peterman, all of Milwaukee.

She was buried in Florida on May 24.
