Milton (Micky) Sattell

Milton Micky Sattell of Glendale died of natural causes Dec. 28. He was 77.
A Milwaukee native, he graduated from Washington High School in 1946 and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1950.
A certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner, he was the founder of Sattell, Johnson, Appel Co., S.C., Milwaukee. where he worked until his retirement in 2001.
A bridge player, stamp and coin collector, and lover of big band era and romantic movies and music, according to his family, he also participated in many volunteer activities. He served as a volunteer fireman, Cubmaster, Little League coach and umpire. He also wrote many New Years Eve parodies for Congregation Beth Israel, including The Student Blintz, The Maltese Bagel, Macaroon, and Kiss Me, Nate.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Sattell, nee Hurwitz, in 1992. He is survived by sons, Barry (Judy) Sattell of Mequon and Michael (Lisa) Sattell of Bayside; a daughter, Karen (Michael) Polsky of Bayside; and seven grandchildren.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at funeral services at Congregation Shalom, Dec. 29.
Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Memorials to the ALS Association, Wisconsin Chapter, would be appreciated by the family.
