Karen Maureen Schumacher

Karen Maureen Schumacher (nee Kaiser), a resident of Bayside, died Sept. 16. She was 63.

Born in Chicago, Schumacher came to Milwaukee in 1968. She worked as a party coordinator in the community for several years as the owner of Parties Unlimited by Karen.

She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bruce Schumacher in 2000. Survivors include her sons Howard (Mindi) Schumacher of Mequon, and Mitchell Schumacher of Fox Point; her mother, Minette Kaiser, of Skokie, Ill.; a sister, Susan (Barry) Berman, of Skokie; and one grandchild.

Graveside services were held on Sept. 17 in Agudas Achim Cemetery. Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated.

The family appreciates memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
