Greenberg honored as tennis MVP

June 2nd, 2006

Nolan Greenberg — a 2001 graduate of the Milwaukee Jewish Day School, a 2005 graduate of Nicolet High School and the 2004 and 2005 WIAA Division 1 Wisconsin state doubles champion — was recently honored by the University of Delaware (Division 1) tennis team.

A freshman, he won the 2006 Alexander J. Taylor Alumni Association Most Valuable Player award. In his first collegiate season, he led all Delaware players in singles victories with a 13-7 record and posted a 12-8 doubles record.

He began the fall season playing #5 singles and #3 doubles, but by the spring season was playing #2 singles and #1 doubles for Delaware, his family said.

Nolan is the son of Susan Esser-Greenberg and Gary Greenberg of Bayside.
