A son, Jacob Aleck, was born Dec. 17 to Dana and Steven Emold of Bayside.
The maternal grandparents are Bonnie and Michael Kofsky of Mequon. Karen and Milton Emold of Bayside are the paternal grandparents.

The maternal great-grandmother is Bernice Kofsky of Fox Point.

The baby is named in memory of his great-grandparents, Aleck Kofsky, Sam Emold and Natalie Steindler.
