Rachel Suesskind

Native Milwaukeean Rachel Suesskind (née Pearl) died of natural causes July 18. She was 88.

She was a graduate of North Division High School. According to her family, she loved to do crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.

Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by daughter Alice (Barton) Peck, son Irving (Jane) Suesskind, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Second Home Cemetery on July 20. Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated.
