Krasno honored by Postal Service

The United States Postal Service honored Gloria Krasno for her achievement in the area of religion with their sixth annual “Women Who Put Their Stamp on Metro Milwaukee” awards, presented at a luncheon and leadership conference on Friday, March 19.

One of 23 honorees, Krasno is a chaplain with the Milwaukee Jewish Chaplaincy Program, a program sponsored by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation in cooperation with Jewish Family Services.

Director of Caring for the Soul of the Mental Health Association of Milwaukee County, Krasno co-facilitates a religious issues group at a county day hospital.

A member of Congregation Sinai, Krasno is also a mental health counselor, lecturer, yoga teacher and Kabbalah guide.
