Benjamin Shimon, a sophomore at the University of Arizona, has received a $2,500 Bernard and Helen F. Soref Scholarship. The couple established the Scholars Program with a gift to the Jewish Community Foundation, the endowment development program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, to help students finance post-high school education.
