Lubar appointed to county commission

Elliot Lubar, executive vice president of Jewish Family Services, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Milwaukee County Commission on Aging by Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker.
Through JFS, Lubar has worked closely with the Department on Aging in its Family Care Program. The commission is a governing and policy-making body with 16 members and is designed to assist seniors maintain their independence and remain active in their communities.
Lubar has been with JFS for 29 years and has led the agency since 1992. He is president of the Wisconsin Employee Benefits Association and serves on the board of the Wisconsin Association of Family and Childrens Agencies and the Wisconsin chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
