Jackson Ellis Kohn

A son, Jackson Ellis, was born Aug. 6 to Jennifer and David Kohn of Encino, Calif. He is their first child.

The maternal grandmother is Arlene Jacobs of Moraga, Calif. Marlene and Bob Kohn of Bayside are the paternal grandparents.

The baby is named in memory of his maternal grandfather and his maternal great-grandfather, both of whom were named Ellis Jacobs.
