JCC is partner for Farm Stand at Bayshore

Beginning June 14, the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, Bayshore Town Center, and Growing Power will be working together to bring a Farm Stand to Bayshore Town Center in Glendale.

Growing Power is a national nonprofit organization and land trust that helps provide equal access to healthy, high-quality, safe, and affordable food for people in all communities. The Farm Stand will also offer educational mini-workshops throughout the year.

The Farm Stand will be open all year, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. During the summer, it will be outside in the Town Square. From October through May and during inclement weather, it will be inside J-Shore, the JCC’s outreach storefront located near the Food Court.
