Wausau rabbi writes for Jewish values site
June 1st, 2012
Rabbi E. Daniel Danson of Mt. Sinai Congregation in Wausau has been recruited to be a member of the “online faculty” for Jewish Values Online, according to the synagogue’s May newsletter.
The site states that it offers “multi-Jewish perspectives on morals and ethics” provided by “some of the most respected Conservative, Orthodox, and Reform rabbis.”
Danson reprinted in the bulletin his answer to the question “Where does the concept of tikkun olam (repairing the world) originate, and is it a mitzvah (commandment) or does it hold the same level of importance as a mitzvah?”
Rabbi Jonathan Biatch of Temple Beth El in Madison also is one of the Reform “panelists” for the site.
