Vets to hold service, replace cemetery flags

The Jewish War Veterans Department of Wisconsin invites all veterans to a special Shabbat service dedicated to honoring fallen heroes and offering thanks to all military personnel currently deployed.

This service will be held Saturday, May 26, 9 a.m., at Congregation Beth Israel, 6880 N Green Bay Ave. A Kiddush luncheon will be served afterward.

On Sunday, May 20, JWV will place new flags in all the Milwaukee area Jewish cemeteries. Volunteers who would like to participate may assemble at the northwest corner of Capital Dr. and N. 76th St. at 9.30 a.m.
