Solomon Gad
May 17th, 2002
Lifelong Milwaukeean Solomon Gad of Whitefish Bay died May 6 of pneumonia. He was 80.
An attorney, he was operated his own law practice for many years.
He is survived by his wife Ellie Gad (nee Cesar) of Whitefish Bay; daughters Lauren (Dusty) Katz of Bayside and Michele Gad of Montrose, Colo.; sister Nettie Kraus of Houston; brothers Peter (Esther) Gad of Granada Hills, Calif., and Kenneth (Kathleen) Gad of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral on May 9. Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery.
Memorials to Congregation Shalom or Hadassah would be appreciated by the family.
