JMM presents Museum Summer University Series

Jewish Museum Milwaukee announces a Museum Summer University Series.
It will take place onthree consecutive Thursdays — July 7, 14, and 21 — from 11 a.m.-noon. This series addresses a range of topics taught by noted local university scholars. Presenters and topics will be:
• July 7, Tim Crain, Ph.D., adjunct assistant professor of the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will discuss “Jews in America: Immigration to Present.”
• July 14, Joshua Burns, Ph.D., assistant professor of theology at Marquette University, will present “Jewish Legend and Lore through Literature.”
• July 21, Bruce Fetter, Ph.D., emeritus professor of history at UWM, will discuss “Empowerment of Jewish Women in 19th Century Eastern Europe.”
