JMM presents Museum Summer University Series

Jewish Museum Milwaukee announces a Museum Summer University Series.

It will take place onthree consecutive Thursdays — July 7, 14, and 21 — from 11 a.m.-noon. This series addresses a range of topics taught by noted local university scholars. Presenters and topics will be:

• July 7, Tim Crain, Ph.D., adjunct assistant professor of the Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will discuss “Jews in America: Immigration to Present.”

July 14, Joshua Burns, Ph.D., assistant professor of theology at Marquette University, will present “Jewish Legend and Lore through Literature.”

July 21, Bruce Fetter, Ph.D., emeritus professor of history at UWM, will discuss “Empowerment of Jewish Women in 19th Century Eastern Europe.”
