Shiner accepted to Walt Disney band

Mitchell Shiner, percussionist, has been selected for the Walt Disney All American College Big Band for its summer program at Disneyland. They will play four marching shows a day and one big band gig per evening.

This was the result of a nationwide hunt by the Disney company for the best college musicians in America.

Mitchell graduated from Nicolet High School and is currently a jazz percussion major at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.
