Riley-Werner

Aliza Monique Riley and Nicholas Thomas Werner were married July 11, 2009, at Doctor’s Park in Fox Point. Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Robin Gerson and Timothy Riley of Glendale. Aliza graduated from Nicolet High School in 1999, Boston University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Deaf Studies, and is planning to graduate from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee May 2010 with an Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.
She is currently a third-grade teacher in the Glendale-River Hills School District and runs an independent lifestyle portrait photography business, Aliza Werner Photography.
The groom is the son of Mary Jo and Eric Werner of Franklin. Nicholas graduated from Whitnall High School in 1997, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, and Marquette University in 2007 with an Master of Business Administration.
He is employed by Reader’s Digest Association as a senior financial analyst.
The maid of honor was Zari Talebi of Milwaukee. The bridesmaids were Chelsea Riley of Mexico City, Kaelyn Riley and Shaina Riley of Glendale, Megan Sprecher of Cleveland, Ohio, and Katie Willems of Burlington.
The best man was Nathan Pamperin of Wauwatosa. The groom’s attendants were Shelly Blohowiak of Milwaukee, Gregory Quinn of Madison, Joseph Roth of New Berlin, and Steven Weiand and Andrew Werner of West Allis.
The ushers were Jacob Gagas and Jeffrey Seidner, both of Milwaukee.
Chuppah holders were Lisadee Green of New York, NY, Darcy McNutt of Austin, Texas, Michelle Pape of Wauwatosa and Pamela Ritger of Milwaukee.
Sean Quinn of Madison was junior groomsman. Gabrielle Werner was junior bridesmaid. Mya Werner was bridesmaid-in-training. Ella Quinn was flower girl. Nathan Baake of Hales Corners and Caden Roth of New Berlin were bell ringers.
After a two-week trip to Bali, Indonesia, the bride and groom live in Wauwatosa.
