Engaged: Kanner-Ruby

Andrea Kanner of Boston and Michael Ruby of Quincy, Mass., are planning to be married Nov. 6.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ann and Steve Kanner of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. She graduated from Yale University in 2004 and is studying dental medicine at Tufts Dental School.

The future groom is the son of Marilyn and Robert Ruby of Glendale. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Drake University in 2003 and a Master in Business Administration from St. Thomas University in 2007. He is employed by Smiths Medical.
