Federation’s Leibl gets Business Journal kudos

September 11th, 2008

Brian Leibl, chief financial officer of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, has been recognized as a CFO of the Year by the Milwaukee Business Journal in its first awards by that name.

“We’re fortunate to have him and now, too, the broader accounting profession and community at large will know what we already do, that he’s an invaluable member of our MJF team,” said Richard H. Meyer, MJF executive vice president.

Leibl was honored in the category “large non-profit.” For profit, not-for-profit and other civic entities were allowed to submit nominations.

Leibl will be formally acknowledged at an awards luncheon on Friday, Oct. 10, and within a special section of the Business Journal in the issue of Oct. 17.
