Merar elected PIDA chairman

Mequon resident Bob Merar was recently elected chairman of the Pet Industry Distributors Association at the organization’s 40th Management Conference and Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.

Merar, the president of General Pet Supply in Milwaukee, has served on the PIDA board of directors since 2002. His most recent post was first vice chairman, and he has chaired the board’s education and program committees for the past several years.
