Robert Norman Stone

Robert Norman Stone of Glendale, who took on his father’s business, Stone’s Jewelry Company, and served as a first lieutenant in World War II, died Sept. 13, 2016. He was 92.

He is survived by wife Anita Stone.

A graduate of Shorewood High School in 1942, he also graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison after serving in the war. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business.

He was a member of The Shul of Bayside

In addition to his wife, survivors include children Nancy (Scott) Phillips, James (Helena) Stone, plus grandchildren Andrew and Stephanie Phillips, Simcha, Shimon, Eli, and Adina Stone. Preceded in death by son Steven, of blessed memory.

The burial was at Spring Hill Cemetery on Sept. 14, 2016 with Rabbi Avremi Schapiro and Blane Goodman Funeral Service.
