Paler-Johnsen
Laura Paler of Pittsburgh and Kyle Johnsen of Washington, D.C., are engaged and planning a wedding in July.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debra Paler of Thiensville and Ron (Shari) Paler of Mequon. She is on leave from her position as assistant professor of political science at the University of Pittsburgh and is a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington.
The future groom’s parents are Elaine and Mark Johnsen of Washington. He is a post-production supervisor at Discovery Studios in Silver Spring, Md.
